Game Jams and Released Games

Echoes of Insanity

Our first-ever game jam entry! We participated in the October 2024 S-Kill Up Horror Game Jam, crafting a spooky game in just over two weeks (October 14th to 31st). The theme was “Audio-Based Gameplay,” challenging us to build an immersive experience centered around sound. As a solo developer, this was a significant undertaking, but we’re proud of the result. It’s not perfect, but it captures the spirit of the jam! Try it out and share your thoughts—we’d love to hear your feedback!

Only Forward

Our second game jam project! Created for the November 2024 Puzzle Platformer Game Jam, “Only Forward” focuses on minimalist mechanics and tightly designed puzzles. Developed in under two weeks, the game embodies the theme of “One-Way Progression,” where the player can only move forward and overcome challenges creatively. This was an exciting opportunity to experiment with level design and storytelling. Dive in, explore the puzzles, and let us know what you think!

Current Project

CoreNexus

This is the game we’re currently working on. The basic premise is that you are stranded in a strange cave, with no clue how you got there. The only thing you find when you awake is an ominous machine, whirring powerfully, and a small tablet that allows you mine ores and construct buildings. With no memories, no clues, and no hope left, all you can do is mine, build, and explore.

Past Games – Including not completed

FPS Prototype

The second most recent game I worked on was a small FPS game. The goal of this game was to let me practice with 3D, including effects, basic modeling, and enemy pathing AI. This is my first real departure from 2D games, and while I learned a lot of valuable things, it ultimately taught me that I prefer working in 2D. In the gallery on the left are some of the gun 3D models I made in Blender.

2D RPG Prototype

The earliest game I’ve worked on, or at least the earliest I still have access to, is a simple RPG. Through this prototype, I explored tile maps, NPC design, pathing, UI, and quest systems.
